Abstract

The article is devoted to the technological progress in artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on modern healthcare in the Republic of Belarus. Key areas of AI development are discussed, including disease diagnostics, drug development, medical image analysis, and physician decision support.

Important aspects of implementing AI technologies, such as comprehensiveness, interoperability, and human-centeredness, are highlighted, emphasizing the importance of considering the individuality of each patient and compliance with international standards. Practical projects implemented in the Republic of Belarus are described in detail, including the implementation of automated decision support systems, virtual operators, and voice-based medical documentation services.

Special attention is given to issues related to legal regulation, personnel training, and the technical challenges of implementing AI in practical medicine. A set of principles and approaches for the phased development of AI technologies is proposed, providing for the continuous improvement and harmonization of national and international experience.

The final conclusion of the article is the assertion that the Republic of Belarus possesses all the prerequisites for the successful implementation of innovative technologies, becoming an attractive platform for testing large-scale projects aimed at modernizing healthcare and related industries.
